The plexi acetate features a premium Japanese chronograph movement, surrounded by a 48mm wide, surgical-grade stainless steel case. The plexiΓÇÖs band consists of a combination of stainless steel links and acetate links. Acetate is most commonly found in Italian-designer sunglasses. Its minimalist dial adds to the premium aesthetics of this watch and makes it truly one-of-a-kind. With a water resistance rating of 10 atm and a hardened mineral crystal, the plexi acetate is a great premium timepiece that can withstand the elements. About acetate:: commonly found in Italian designer sunglasses, the acetate process is borrowed from high-end eyewear construction, to create "hand formed" frames. Vestal cases are hand formed (after machining, before assembly) for this process. The acetate material comes from the same supplier as the eyewear industry.
